Registry terms
Effective: 3 September 2026
1. Registrant’s declaration
By submitting a claim, the registrant requests a public registry record and adopts the declaration displayed beside the checkbox. The registrant must be entitled to make the declaration and must not knowingly provide false, misleading or unlawfully obtained information.
2. What EZNIEK records
The submitted PDF remains in the browser. EZNIEK records document and text fingerprints, declaration details, time, status and limited abuse-prevention information. Fingerprints identify matching content but cannot establish who created it.
3. No independent verification
Unless a record expressly states otherwise, EZNIEK has not verified identity, authorship, rights ownership, exclusively human creation or the truth of supporting material. The statuses By Declaration, By Supported Declaration and Pending Review describe registry events, not findings of fact.
4. Conflicting claims
More than one person may claim the same or substantially overlapping text. EZNIEK does not apply a “first claimant wins” rule. A duplicate claim changes the public status to Pending Review. The entry remains visible and EZNIEK does not adjudicate the underlying rights dispute.
5. Reports and supporting material
A verified contact email and a name are required before a claim, report or supporting item takes effect. EZNIEK may use these contact details to ask questions about the submission or a related conflict.
A verified flag changes the public status to Pending Review but does not prove the allegation. Supporting material from the original verified declarant can produce By Supported Declaration; material from a third party is treated as a challenge. Users must not use these functions to harass, defame, impersonate or interfere with lawful claims.
6. Public information
Registry records are intended for public consultation. A name is published only when the registrant selects that option. Public information may be observed, quoted or archived by third parties; EZNIEK cannot guarantee removal from independent copies.
7. Prohibited use
- registering content under a knowingly false identity or claim;
- automated bulk registration, scraping or circumvention of technical limits;
- submitting unlawful, infringing, defamatory or deceptive material;
- misrepresenting a self-declaration as independent certification by EZNIEK.
8. Availability and changes
EZNIEK may suspend or modify pilot functions to protect security, legal rights or register integrity. Material changes to these terms apply prospectively; the declaration version stored with an existing record remains part of that record.
9. Liability
Liability is governed by applicable law. Nothing in these terms excludes liability where exclusion is legally impermissible, including liability for intent, gross negligence or injury to life, body or health. Users remain responsible for their declarations and their use of registry information.
